DGMS

OMG~ I haven't been posting for the whole of past 2 months! Ok, fine, I'm just lazy. Lols.

Let me update you on my work life.

Basically, I'm now working at NUS, Division of Graduate Medical Studies (DGMS), as a Management Assistant Officer. We organise exams and exam preparatory courses for doctors. I love my job, and I'm very happy working here.

I have a very nice manager and supervisor. My supervisor, Arthur, he is a very busy man, but he knows how to take care of me. Step by step, he teaches me how to do this and that. When I'm sorta being "bully", he knows how to protect me. He is a really caring boss.

The colleagues here are great too! My buddy, YiMing, she is always there when I need help. My neighbour, YuChen, oh, I love her. Hahas. She is such a nice girl, whatever I dunno, when I ask her, she will slowly explain to me. And what I love her most is that after being influenced by me, she started to listen to KAT-TUN's songs! And day by day, she started to like Jin more and more! Hahaha. I'm so proud! Lols.

I love DGMS!!!

p/s: I no longer have to cry because of work. Hees. =D

Writing Japanese Essay is difficult!!!

I spent whole day doing my Japanese 2nd essay. It almost kills all my brain cells! We are given a difficult title, "Singapore". How you expect me to write about Singapore when my heart is with Japan? Lols. I did tried my best to write, so please let me score well. As usual, if I did well, I will post it here to share with you.

HOTTEST MAG - AN.AN 1677 Issue

"An.An" latest issue is out today.
I think Kinokuniya's hotline will explode soon.
So when will the magazine arrive in Singapore?
I think it gonna be out of stock as soon as it arrive.
You better grab it quick if you want.
And please prepare a box of tissue if you're reading it.

Though I don't wish to share this news,
But I did because I'm so proud of him.
As long as it is something he wants,

羽賀先生, please stay healthy

Last week 羽賀先生 was sick, so a male teacher came to take over 2 of the lessons. He is a Singaporean, but can speak Japanese quite well. Oh, and he is a joker. Lols. He is very cheerful, so the class atmosphere becomes very lively. Ehs, but don't really like the way he teaches, it's kind of messy. I still prefer 羽賀先生. Let's hope she can get well soon.

My first Japanese Essay - 私

Gotten my Japanese Essay. I scored an A for it. Erm, not proud of it at all, because classmates around me all get A+. Oks, it's my fault, I didn't read the instruction properly. As I've mentioned earlier, if I scored well, I will post it here. A isn't too bad, so here it comes:

Yupp. Above is my first Japanese Essay. I know it's not very good, but that's my first lehs. Give me a little encouragement can? Hahas. I will try my best next time. =)

New Japanese Teacher - Bullet Train

Yesterday, we have a new Japanese teacher, 羽賀先生. She seems ok, so not too bad, but still miss 赤崎先生　＆　服部先生. 羽賀先生 teaches very fast, some students call her "Bullet Train". Now, we don't have to worry whether we can finish all the chapters in time. Instead, we have to worry whether we can catch up with her. She finished one whole chapter in 2 lessons. That's like.. WOW!! Hahas. I shall work harder!

NUS - Interview

Yesterday went to NUS for interview. Took a cab there, alight at wrong place, ended up have to walk a bus stop distance. NUS is too big, I'm lost. Saw a quite good looking guy, so asked him for direction. Finally get to the correct place, Division of Medical Centre. Interview supposed to be at 3pm, but I reached at 2.20pm. Waited until 3.05pm, then got 1 interviewee came out. At 3.15pm, I was called in. There were 3 interviewers, they asked me alot of questions. Interview lasted for 45mins to 1hr, but I wasn't confident in getting shortlisted. Shall wait for the result.

Sent sms to Chris, Mr. Alam, Mr. Joe So, Ms. Ho & Ms. Toh and wished them. Mr. So & Ms. Toh replied with a thanks. Chris called and thanks me, then we have a short chat.

Here, I wanna wish 服部先生 & 赤碕先生 a very Happy Teachers' Day too! Thanks for whatever you have taught me. I really enjoyed your Japanese Lessons. I will always remember you. =)

Rejected by MFA, Rejecting NTU

Surprisingly, on Friday at 5pm, I received a call from my agent, Kevin, told me that NTU will be offering the job to me. I panicked because I don't know whether I should accept this job offer. I told him I need to consider.

I called SiWei and asked her for her opinion, and decided to call MFA to check whether they will offer me the job. MFA's staff, was kind enough to help me check and get back to me.

Meanwhile, I received a call from another agent, George, told me that NUS has shortlisted me for an interview on Mon. Now, I'm being trapped among these 3 company. Told Kevin that I can only give him an answer after my NUS' interview.

At 7pm, I received email from MFA. I was not shortlisted, but I really wanna thank MFA for giving me the chance. Thanks.

These few days have been thinking alot. Decided to give up NTU's offer. If you want me to work with that kinda supervisor, I guessed I will not have an easy life. When trust is not there, nothing can be done. Don't you think so?

Let's hope I will have better job's offers.

NTU - Interview

I was scheduled to go for an interview at NTU. Fang was in NTU, so she agreed to bring me to the interview place. That's so nice of her. Thanks, Fang, without you I will get lost in NTU! Hahas.

We reached at 2.45pm. Fang waited outside. The interviewer is also call Fiona. Fiona meeting Fiona. Yupps, that's what she said. Lols. She said since my interview time is 3pm, she will start at 3pm. I don't understand why, do you? She seems nice during the interview. After she interview me, she brought me over to her senior to interview me. They asked almost the same questions. But her senior looks strict. She kept asking me what's the factors that triggered me to quit my previous job. Looks like she wasn't very satisfied with my answer. She also asked "How do we know that you were not asked to leave by your previous boss?" What do you think of this question? How will you feel when this kinda question is being asked?

In an interview, not only the interviewer will be considering the interviewee, but the interviewee has the rights to consider the interviewer as well. It's our choice to decide whether we want to join their organisation.

MFA - 2nd Interview Done

I was rather early for my interview. Interview time is 9.20am, but I reached at 8.30am. Saw the guy that took the test together with me the previous time. I knew he will be selected because he is very outspoken. If only I have his courage, I can do very well in interviews too. Hahas. While waiting, he spoke to me. We were given a copy of the job scopes. There are 3 appointments available: Assistant Travel Planner, Assistant Protocol Offier and Assistant Human Resource Offier. I chose Assistant Human Resource Officer.

The guy went in for the interview first, then followed by me. I didn't know there will be 3 interviewers! My heart skipped a beat, but I didn't panicked, I just flashed them my most sweet smile. Hahas. They asked me a lot of questions, I just answered them honestly. I like the questions they asked, very relevant.

Doubt I will get this job, because the guy went in for more than 30 mins and I only went in for 10 mins. Gone case. Hahas.

赤崎先生- いるいるありがとうございます

Yesterday, I went to Jap Lesson with a smile, ended with tears. At the end of the lesson, 赤崎先生 said "I'm sorry to inform you, today is my last lesson with you." Tell me, how am I going to accept this fact? First, is 服部先生, now is 赤崎先生. I really like 服部先生 a lot, a lot. So when 赤崎先生 took over the class, I don't like her. Even HuiPing and Sharon noticed that. I'm someone that cannot hide my feelings. If I like you, I will show you. If I don't like you. I will show you too. But as time goes by, I have accepted 赤崎先生.

She is the first teacher who knows about KAT-TUN. She is the first teacher who understands how much I love Jin. Whenever she needs us to form a sentence that can be relate to KAT-TUN or Jin, she will definitely ask me. She even introduce KAT-TUN to the whole class. It's really nice to have a teacher who knows what is your interest. Now, she is gone. She has to go back to Japan for an operation. I hope everything will go well for her. I hope she will recover soon. I hope I will still have the chance to be taught by her.

MFA - 2nd Round Interview

WOORAY!!!

The staff from Ministry of Foreign Affair just called me to go for an interview tomorrow!
I was short listed for 2nd round interview!
He said I did very well in my test!
Out of so many people who took the tests, there are only 2 of us who are being short listed for 2nd stage wor.
I'm proud. So proud of myself.
Even if I don't get this job, I'm already satisfied that I went for the 2nd round interview.
I will try my best!

CitiBella - Facial

Went to CitiBella to do facial. It's super pain! Tears dropped when i'm being treated, but at least face is smoother now. Hees.

Compliments

Today went to PowerNet Agency for interview. She asked me if I want to look for Customer Service Job because she said I have a sweet smile. Hees. She also commented that I look a bit like Japanese! Super happy to hear that. Hahas.

After that headed for my Jap Lesson, 赤崎先生 said that I looked nice with permed hair. Hees. One of my classmate said that I have a nice perm hair. Oh yeah, took my 2nd Kanji Test today. I hope I can do well.

Received so many compliments in a day, that's so lucky of me. Hahas. Thanks for all those compliments! Hees.
